Portfolio website for Singaporean artist Guo-Liang Tan. As simple and minimal a scaffolding as possible, the site’s framework recedes into the background, allowing the dynamically laid out artworks to sit foremost in the visual hierarchy. An element of the recurring translucency and layering found in the artist’s work is encountered in image overlays, subverting the otherwise clean delineation.
