Publication design and illustration for Stephanie Peh’s Conversations Around Food, a collection of interviews and essays with and by people who nourish others for a living, from chefs and chef-owners to bakers, bartenders and chocolatiers. Inspired by the book’s candid exploration of the human experiences behind F&B establishments, each hand-rendered spot illustration draws on an anecdote or episode recounted by the interview subjects, combining to form a smörgåsbord on the front cover that proffers a taste of the stories within.
